The Quint went to South Central Mumbai, a Shiv Sena stronghold, to find out what voters think this election season. Ramakrishna, a consultant, says, "Leaders should talk about development plans. I am not happy at all. I am contemplating whether I should vote or not. No party is worth voting for."

On being asked whether Shiv Sena MP Rahul Shewale has done significant work, residents of South Central Mumbai responded "No work has been done, it is all propaganda."

Another resident said, "Modi government should be given another chance. They deserve credit for the surgical strikes. The Manmohan Singh government took no counter-measures against terror attacks."

Women's safety was another widely discussed issue. Ruchi, a lawyer, said that her vote would be based on that particular factor. In Mumbai South Central, Shiv Sena's Rahul Shewale is facing off against Congress' Eknath Gaikwad. The constituency goes to polls in the fourth phase, on 29 April 2019.
