An energised Congress party has stepped up its attack on PM Modi and his government’s performance in the past one year.

A day after former Finance Minister P Chidambram hit out at the BJP government’s performance, the Congress has released a ‘report card’ challenging the government’s claims.

In a press conference held at the AICC office in Delhi, senior party leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad, Randeep Surjewala and Mallikarjun Kharge attacked the government, using some harsh rhetoric as well as facts.

As was expected, there were quite a few jibes directed at the PM.

This one year has been a government of Self, Selfies and Selfishness. If they had really worked then BJP would not have taken the pains to have 200 rallies and 2000 exhibitions.

The Congress also challenged the claims made by the government such as a corruption-free government and the control of price-rise.

The Congress also attacked the government on price rise and job creation with Ghulam Nabi Azad claiming that there has been no forward movement on either.
