Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led MP government has ordered an inquiry into Maihar building collapse on Saturday. The collapse has killed at least seven, including a woman and four minors in Maihar area of Satna district.
The incident took place in the wee hours when the house in Rahatgarh area collapsed amid heavy rains.
The victims were sleeping when the house collapsed.
In Madhya Pradesh the situation remains grim due to torrential rainfall.
Heavy rain is affecting all parts of Madhya Pradesh. Districts are facing flood like situation. Excessive water is being released from most of the dams in these areas.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan called an emergency meeting to review heavy rainfall & flood situation in the state.
