“However small the scene, I have given my best to it,” says Nawazuddin Siddiqui, a Bollywood actor known for his finesse and loved by audience and critics alike.
Siddiqui spoke about a few of his popular scenes, such as the ‘permission scene’ in Gangs of Wasseypur and the ‘railway station scene’ in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He also shared the story behind those scenes, giving an insight into the inspiration, his training and then how he managed the final take.
Nawazuddin emphasised the importance of training, and claimed that anybody can be star, but it takes hard work to be an actor.
He spoke at the Penguin Random House Spring Fever 2016, which was held at the India Habitat Centre.
