Amitabh Bachchan Pays Tribute To the 26/11 Martyrs

Nitin Gadkari and Rajnath Singh were the chief guests for the event.

To commemorate the eleventh year of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, the city gathered in front of Gateway of India to pay respects to the fallen. The event saw ministers, Bollywood celebrities and prominent members of the society coming forward to pay homage.

The entire event saw many tributes including one of a beautiful 8-minute musical monologue by megastar Amitabh Bachchan. With a pre-recorded narration embedded with music, Big B came on stage with dancers and acted out the entire piece. Singers Rekha Bhardwaj, Harshdeep Kaur, Kavita Krishnamurthy, and Shilpa Rao also took to the stage and gave some heartwarming performances.

Jui Karkare, daughter of the late anti-terrorism squad chief, Hemant Karkare also attended the event and paid tribute to her father. She shared stories about her father to honour his legacy.

Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways was the guest of honour and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the chief guest.
