Oh Chennai, Cry No More: Man Sings in Tamil To Make City Smile

Chennai is under water and over its head in a wet, wet crisis – homes destroyed, lives lost and all work at a standstill.

The reason? The rain gods’ fury has left Chennai’s skies depressed. The MET department says the worse is yet to come.

The city is already hungry, thirsty, stranded and wet. But amid her cries of help, The Quint brings you a different voice – this one’s a song written by a Chennai resident. He’s urging the city to stop crying and to smile once again.
