After two tantalising teasers, the sly makers of Game of Thrones finally released a minute-long promo, but it only made fans all the more exasperated!
As we strike the days off the calendar until 16 July, we have a few wild theories on how winter will finally conquer them all!
Ice Meets Fire
All of us want to see Jon Snow meet Daenerys Targaryen. Together they defeat the White Walkers. How? Dany with her dragons and Jon Snow... well, he has the Red Woman by his side, does he need dragons?
Third Head of the Dragon
So you must already know about R+L=J. In this season, it may be finally proven that Jon Snow is Rhaegar’s son. Even with that, we still have a missing third head. It may be a very wild shot but my bets are on Tyrion.
A Classic RR Martin Ending
Everybody dies, that’s right, EVERYBODY DIES. I can imagine a hundred reasons why that thought might be spectacularly appealing to George RR Martin. It makes sense to build up the plot to great heights only to tell the audience that the fight for the Iron Throne was only childishness. In this theory, Jon Snow dies and becomes the Night’s King.
