Legendary American singer-songwriter, Bob Dylan, has been awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize for Literature. He has created history by becoming the first musician to win the coveted prize. He is best-known for classics like ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’, ‘The Times They Are A Changin’’ and ‘Like a Rolling Stone’.

Bob Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize for “having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition”. With this, Dylan also becomes the first person in history to win an Oscar, Grammy awards and a Nobel Prize.
