BJP leader and Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Tuesday took aim at the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Congress leader for raising questions over the veracity of the surgical strikes conducted by the Indian Army across the Line of Control.

Speaking to the media, the Telecom Minister questioned the intention behind Kejriwal’s video from Monday, asking him if he truly believes in the valour of the Army or not. He said:

I want to ask Arvind Kejriwal whether he really believes in the extraordinary valour of our army or not in conducting surgical strike?

He also questioned why was the Delhi Chief Minister giving Pakistan and its media a chance to point fingers at India during testing times “when the nation was standing together”,

Using Kejriwal’s words against him, Prasad asked the Delhi CM why was he getting influenced by Pakistan’s false propaganda.

He also trained his guns at former Finance Minister P Chidambaram over his comments on the issue. Prasad said:

I want to ask him (P Chidambaram) is he also joining the bandwagon by doubting the capacity of our jawans in conducting the surgical strikes?

Kejriwal has said that even though he may have hundreds of points of difference with Modi, he salutes him for the action he took against Pakistan to show them that India will not let its soldiers’ martyrdom go in vain.

However, the Delhi chief minister also asked Modi to expose Pakistan’s "lies” by providing proof of the surgical strikes by the army.
