Nissan finally unveiled the mighty GT-R, aka The Godzilla in India. The iconic GT-R sports car was first showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo.

The Nissan GT-R’s got a twin-turbo 3.8-litre V6 petrol engine that, according to Nissan, produces 550PS and 632Nm of torque, with ample power.

The GT-R is ridiculously quick, but still an amazing car for daily driving. Let's take a look at what the car has to offer.

The Looks

The GT-R is science's favourite child. The chiselled bodywork was meticulously worked upon in a wind tunnel, to ensure it cuts through air like a hot knife through butter. The proportions and the underlying design of the GT-R have remain unchanged over nearly a decade. But updates to the 2017 version include a set of new bumpers at either end, the family 'V-Motion' grille, and a set of new wheels.

The Cabin

Nissan's mantra here was 'declutter'. A large 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system takes centrestage. It has the usual goodies like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The number of buttons on the dashboard have been reduced as well, because Nissan believes you should spend your time inside the GT-R driving and not fiddling with buttons. In case you were wondering, the GT-R is classified as a four-seater!

It isn't classified as just another four-seater, though. The GT-R is the fastest four-seater in production. 0-100kmph takes around 3 seconds, which puts it on par with the big boys from the West, such as the Lamborghini Aventador and the Porsche 911 Turbo S. The twin-turbo 3.8-litre V6 engine puts out 565PS of power, which is channelled to all four wheels via Nissan's legendary ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive tech.
