Reliance Jio is working on a new set of 4G prepaid and postpaid plans after TRAI asked the company to withdraw its Summer Surprise offer last week.

The company’s website has teased this message, which means that users on Jio 4G could expect something exciting to be rolled out anytime now.
The news that Jio is updating its 4G tariff plans yet again hardly comes as a surprise. It remains to be seen if Jio manages to entice more users to jump onto its network with the soon-to-be announced plans.
Jio Prime subscription, which was extended to 15 April by the company, was seen as going against the regulations by TRAI. Jio accepted TRAI’s advice, and decided that it will withdraw the service, which however, continues to be live.
Nobody knows what prompted TRAI’s ruling against Summer Surprise offer, especially when they have openly advocated for Jio’s previous free internet offerings.
