Nokia has reinvented the 3310 feature phone at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona, and is likely to launch in India for Rs 3,500 around June 2017. The phone is more of a smart-feature phone now, with its support for basic internet surfing, provided via Opera Mini browser.

Colour display
Keeping it relevant to time, HMD Global has opted for a bigger, colourful 2.4-inch display for the Nokia 3310. This means that you can not only browse the internet, but also click pictures and see what you’ve got. Trimming down the size of 3310 ensures the bumping of screen size doesn’t make the phone heavier than it was.
Bluetooth
Yes, even in 2017, it is worth pointing out that Nokia 3310 gets Bluetooth support.
Does it mean, this phone can now support pairing with Bluetooth headphones? We sure hope so. Nevertheless, Nokia 3310 is now sharing-friendly with this improvement.
More storage
Well, you couldn’t store songs, heck even messages (SMS) had a limit, same goes for contacts (the world we lived in back then).
But the Nokia 3310 in its new avatar lets you do that and more with the option to expand storage, made possible via inclusion of microSD card slot, expandable up to 32GB.
WhatsApp aboard?
There are strong indications that Nokia’s 30 series operating system could get support for the popular social messaging platform. Neither Facebook nor WhatsApp have confirmed this, but imagine this rock-solid phone becoming a messenger-enabled device? We’re split whether we want that on the Nokia 3310 or not.

Yes, the new Nokia 3310 gets a microUSB port and not the commonly heard, chotta-pin (small pin) charger. This gives you the option to connect the phone to PC and transfer data.
