As we are saying good-bye to 2017 let’s look back on some of the PlayStation games that made 2017 a BLAST!!

Why PlayStation only you ask? Because I like it and so do almost 24.7 million more people around the world!

Here are the games you should have played in 2017! And if you haven’t, well then you should.

At number 10 is WWE 2K18.

Typical arcade-style formula works like magic for this one and has been continued on the new WWE 2K18. Most of the game’s elements look fine-tuned from the previous year’s game. The multiplayer in the game is good although the two-player format has added thrill. Brilliant game if you have co-players at home.

At number 9 is Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus.

First person shooter fans are going to love the latest Wolfenstein 2. It’s a battle against Nazis with high tech gear in this one and the characters keep you engrossed. A must play FPS (first person shooter) game.

At number 8 is FIFA 18.

You don’t need a reason to fall in love with EA sport’s latest football simulator game. FIFA 18 brings with it a lot of freshness over last year’s FIFA 17 and the gameplay is much more serious this time around. Defending and scoring goals get tougher. The excitement though remains exactly the same.

At number 7 is the fierce racing game Need for Speed Payback.

NFS Payback brings back memories of the successful NFS Underground series from 2003. Of all the failures in the NFS series before this, Payback is much better in terms of gameplay, story and also customisations.

At number 6 is Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Post the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood era, the energy has died out. After Brotherhood I’d say this is the only game in the series I have spent more than 3 hours playing. Assassin’s Creed Origins brings back the excitement of the role playing game.

Based in Egypt, the gameplay remains almost the same apart from a few additions in interface and combat. Hi-5 to Ubisoft on this one!

Number 5 spot belongs to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

The Uncharted series is one of the best RPGs (role playing games) I have played on the PlayStation and it’s a game series I highly recommend. Though, after the Nathan Drake series ended I was disappointed at not being able to dive into the world of treasure hunting and solving complex puzzles.

‘Uncharted Lost Legacy’ adds a bit of feminine touch to the role playing adventure game with the same adrenaline and excitement. Also, the games features India! (Didn’t like the stereotypical accent of the villains though).

At number 4 is Middle Earth: Shadow of War.

Where are the Lord of the Rings fans! The game takes you back into the dark ages and it continues from the narrative of ‘Shadow of Mordor’. It’s visually appealing and the story primarily revolves around a series of battles with Orcs (‘Batman: Arkham City style’). The RPG game is vast so you’ll have fun for hours.

At number 3 is Horizon Zero Dawn.

‘Horizon Zero Dawn’ is all about girl power with a mix of sci-fi adventure and mind-boggling combat. The game is an open world role-playing bundle of action with smart insertions of witty dialogues. The only weapon you get is a bow and arrow – with upgrades of course. Intriguing!

At the number 2 spot is Ghost Recon Wildlands.

It is a game that’ll keep you glued to your TV screens for hours. One of the best RPGs of 2017, it’s about a group of special-op soldiers in hunt to bring down a drug warlord’s empire in Bolivia. The game involves a series of missions in an open world arena and involves engaging armed combat sequences.

And last but not the least, at number 1 is Call of Duty WWII.

A game I had been waiting for long!! Call of Duty WW2. The game reminds me of the movie Saving Private Ryan. It’s a home-coming for all those COD (Call of Duty) fans who loved the game’s world war touch it had about 14 years ago.

Honestly, the futuristic battle rounds were getting boring. World War 2 delivers everything you want in a first person shooter and definitely deserves top spot in best PS games of 2017.
