WhatsApp is known for its end-to-end encryption for chats, making conversations in the app more secure. It is one of the most downloaded messaging platforms on the planet and yet there are a few shortcuts that some users have no idea about. One of which is that you can reply privately to messages within a WhatsApp group to a specific person.
Here’s how you can reply privately to a message on WhatsApp groups.
Step 1
Select the text that you want to reply to, tap on the three dots on the top right hand side.
Step 2
A menu will open up. Tap the first option ‘Reply privately’.
Step 3
The Chat box of the person you want to message will open up with the message that was selected. After sending the message you will automatically return to the group.
Whatsapp is used by more than 300 million users in India, adding these neat little shortcuts does make the whole experience better.
