Pre-Register & Install PUBG Lite For PCs, But You Still Can’t Play

Pre-registration for the PUBG Lite event in India started on Thursday, which suggests that the game is likely to hit PCs in the country very soon. In fact, while opening the PUBG Lite website, you can see glimpses of the Download option, which takes you to the page where the setup.exe file of the game is.

This clearly suggests that behind the scenes, folks at PUBG Lite are working at maintenance – before going live in the country.

You’ll Soon be Able to Track Your Stolen Mobile Using IMEI Number

Here’s a look at the top technology news of the week. 
The app, DIGI COP, can tell a buyer if the mobile phone they have purchased second hand is a stolen mobile or not.

The Telecom Ministry of India is taking a step towards curbing the rampant menace of mobile phone theft and cloning in the country. They are rolling out the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) which holds the database of IMEIs – the 15-digit number that uniquely identifies each mobile device.

The rollout is expected to happen in the next couple of weeks and with it users, whose mobile phones are stolen will be able to inform the Department of Telecom (DoT) via a helpline number – after filing a report with the local police.

This Company is Letting You Stream Internet on Mobile From Lights

Soon, you won’t need boxy routers to stream high-speed internet.

If you’re worried about network constraints limiting the internet speed in your office or school, then you’ve got a new way to work around those issues.

Signify, which was previously known as Philips Lighting, has come out with a unique light bulb call Trulifi which will not only illuminate the room, but also let you surf the web by offering data speeds up to 150Mbps.

But how can a bulb offer internet – especially high-speed internet?

Well, the device relies on a technology called Li-Fi, which has been in the works for the past few years. This, in fact, is the first time we’re seeing a product that’s ready to be used by the end consumer.
