Nikhil Bansal, a BTech student at Punjab University, probably has the best luck in the world. The iPhone 5s 16GB is available in the market for about Rs. 25,000 but Bansal walked away with a 99.7 percent discount, paying only Rs 68.

It wasn’t easy for Bansal to procure the phone. He spotted the stellar deal and obviously didn’t think twice before buying it. However, Snapdeal refused to deliver Bansal’s order. In retaliation, Bansal took them to the consumer court in Punjab’s Sangrur district for not ‘honouring the deal’.

Bansal won the case. Along with his phone, he received an amount of Rs 2000 from Snapdeal as per orders of the court.

Unhappy with the court’s decision, Snapdeal challenged the verdict in a consumer forum. However, luck was definitely not on their side. In addition to losing the challenge, Snapdeal was made to pay an additional fine of Rs 10,000.
