Reliance Jio will offer its free services up to 31 March this year. The company hopes to have 100 million customers on its network by then.

However, Jio’s rivals have other plans. After supposedly blocking Jio’s free voice calls on their networks, Airtel and Vodafone are now offering some attractive internet data offers. In addition to that, they’ve made voice calls (local and STD) free for most 4G circles.

You must have heard a lot about the Jio effect on India’s telecom sector, and you’ll be glad to know that the effect is totally in favour of consumers.
