2. Microsoft Ends Support for Windows 8, Upgrade to Windows 8.1 Today
Microsoft has not only stopped supporting various versions of its Internet Explorer web browser, but pulled out of updating and supporting the Windows 8 operating system (OS). One must keep in mind that Windows 8.1 continues to be part of Microsoft’s OS cycle (at least until Jan 2023 they say.)
