Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a fantastic big screen android smartphone and at The Quint we think that when it comes to multitasking, it’s even better than an iPhone 6s Plus.
What these two phones were missing in the Indian market, however, was the fascination with consumers who have two GSM connections.
They are left with the not so great android smartphones that have Dual-SIM compatibility.
Samsung has innovated here and given the Indian Dual-SIM lovers a reason to cheer.
They have launched a Dual-SIM version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. The 32 GB storage space has been priced in India at Rs 51,400, while the 64 GB version is priced at Rs 57,400.
The Single SIM Galaxy Note 5 also got a price cut and is available at Rs 47,900 for 32 GB and Rs 53,900 for the 64 GB version.
Samsung is moving a leap ahead of its competitor Apple in giving users a true flagship smartphone with a Dual-SIM experience. Apple says that India is a serious market for them, but have failed time and again to cater to Indian consumer insights.
Apple keeps on pushing the outgoing models of iPhone in India at lower prices to gain the loyalty of Android smartphone users.
We do hope that Apple plans at some point to introduce two SIM slots for users soon on their next iPhone.
Samsung, on the other hand, needed such innovation with players like Micromax, Intex and OnePlus gaining more popularity in India than the Korean giant.
