What’s Good?

A curvy back panel with a sandstone finish, along with metallic sides, makes for a very premium looking device. The smartphone has a 5-inch HD display, which is legible both indoors and outdoors.

Bingo 50 sports 8-megapixel cameras, both on the front and the rear. The primary camera, though, captured slightly muted colours with lossy details, the selfie camera stood out with its well-lit and much better-detailed photographs.

The 4G smartphone features a 3GB RAM, with 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. The smartphone runs the latest Android 6 Marshmallow, with a custom InLife UI overlaid. Bingo 50 comes with 16 GB of on-board storage which can be upgraded to 64 GB via a microSD card. Also the phone didn’t show any signs of heating up after active gaming sessions.

The battery count at 2,500 mAh easily lasted for around 7-8 hours of moderate usage.

What’s Bad?

The phone has an awkward built. Its tall design wastes significant space both at the top and at the bottom. The sandstone panel at the back is quite thin and may be prone to breakage if not handled with care.

The default UI that comes pre-installed looks which are quite garish with overdone icons and mismatched theme colours. We couldn’t find a way to disable the theme, but could only download a new one to change it to.
