We’re into 2018 and you’ll be glad to know that mobile data plans are still getting cheaper. Reliance Jio started the trend, and forced its competition to hit back with similar cutbacks, that’s only brought cheer for customers.
And since the dawn of this year, we’ve already seen telcos revising their set of 4G data plans, especially after Reliance Jio decided that customers want more of the same in 2018 as well.
So, we decided to list down the latest 4G data plans that offer 1GB data per day and which one of the lot gives you the best value for money.

Which Plan is Worth Your Buck?
Now that you’ve seen what the telecom operators are offering, it’s quite evident that Reliance Jio still has the best of the bunch, offering the most affordable 4G data plan with 1GB data per day.
In addition to being the cheapest, Jio also adds to its value by offering free voice calls, and access to its pool of Jio apps like Jio Cinema and Jio Music among others. This is where the trio of Airtel, Vodafone and Idea have some catching up do to.
The recent plans from Reliance Jio, offering 1GB per day data at Rs 149 is very appealing, but customers need to realise that Jio only works in 4G network. So, if you end up travelling in remote areas where you only get 2G/3G connectivity then Jio’s 4G goes kaput.
