PUBG Mobile has rolled out the Zombie: Survive Till Dawn mode for smartphone users where the game combines the battle royale format of gameplay with some zombie killing action.
The gameplay features three days and two nights in one 30-minute round accommodating 60 players at a time. The map that the players are dropped in is much smaller than a regular area.
There are multiple types of zombies players encounter and the publishers have added some Hollywood masala to the game by taking zombies from the Resident Evil series such as Police, Licker, and G1 which also includes some zombies created by the PUBG Mobile team.
The zombies tend to become more aggressive as it gets darker and become more challenging to kill.
The Zombie mode has been released for a limited period of time although the company hasn’t released an official date when it would be discontinued.
Since we have been playing the game for a while we have come across some useful tips and tricks that will definitely help you survive in the zombie mode much longer.
1. The Accurate Jump: Landing on the right spot plays a vital role in the “Zombie: Survive Till Dawn” mode. It would be good if you land in populated spots like Pochinki which would have more players who would help you kill zombies. Remember, they can kill you as well.
2. Stick Together: It will be impossible to survive the Erangel Map alone so it’s best that you stick with your team members after the sun sets. Staying together gives you better chances of surviving.
3. Zombie Bomb: Look out for the Zombie Bombs in houses and use them when its dark and your squad is surrounded by a herd of walkers. The bomb will not harm players, but will kill all zombies around you.
5. Zombie Vaccine: Keep a good stock of zombie vaccine with yourself to heal quicker. This would help you restore health quickly.
6. “Get In the Car!”: Always be on the lookout for vehicles as it will always help you outrun zombies and you can also use bigger vehicles like jeeps to run them over.
7. Headshot: Aim for headshots as it’s the most effective way of killing zombies and in the process you save up on ammo as well.
8. Kill Zombie Bosses: Killing the bigger zombie bosses will give you better loot maybe even an 8x scope.
9. Engage when needed: Do not waste your ammo engaging with zombies during the day. Save up on the ammo for when the light dies. Chicken Dinner can only be achieved once all players are dead.
10. Camp Like a Boss: Picking a building with a choke point is always helpful. Defend your position and this tactic could buy you precious seconds to eliminate the enemies.
11. Know Zombie Behaviour: The Zombies that will appear on the second night would be more difficult to deal with than the first one. Try and stock up with all kinds of zombie repellents available.
12. “Run Forrest, Run!”: Running on the second night is a good idea. Since the zombies are tougher to kill, running can help save your life.
13. Chicken Dinner: Switch locations to find other players and kill them when it’s dawn. The barrage won’t stop until other players on the map are eliminated.
