Everyone’s favourite augmented reality game, Pokemon Go, has finally been officially launched in India. Niantic, the makers of the game, have partnered with Reliance Jio in the country. With this announcement, users of Pokemon Go can expect better GPS capability, enabling improved search for Pokemons in their vicinity.

Most people in the Twittersphere are questioning the point of launching it now. But the lure of playing Pokemon Go free of data charge for up to 31 March via the Jio Happy New Year Offer could be hard to ignore for a lot of users out there.
