Microsoft has launched another budget smartphone in India, the Lumia 540, priced at Rs 10,199.
The Lumia 540 is a dual SIM smartphone that sports a 5-inch HD display and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS. The phone will be upgradeable to Windows 10 Mobile OS when it launches.
The Lumia 540 comes loaded with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC that is clocked at 1.2GHz . The Phone also has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable to 128GB via a microSD card.
There are preinstalled apps on the phone like Skype and Office for productivity.
For camera lovers the Lumia 540 dual SIM sports an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera.
For connectivity you get Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-fi, GPS and 3G support. Microsoft Lumia 540 dual SIM packs in a 2200mAh battery.
The new Lumia device is priced at Rs10,199 and the pre-booking for the device will start from May 18.
