Of the many who were thinking that Samsung will be the first smartphone maker to launch a phone with the latest Snapdragon 855 processor, well Lenovo has beaten the Korean tech giant in that race.

Lenovo has launched its flagship the Lenovo Z5 Pro in the Chinese market. It is not only the first phone in the world to come with 12GB of RAM, but it also offers a Snapdragon 855 processor that was launched earlier this month.

Apart from the 7-nanometre chipset, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT runs Android Pie on top of Lenovo's ZUI 10 out-of-the-box.

The surprising bit is that the phone doesn’t come with a notch instead it sports a slider functionality — the same as the Oppo Find X — that brings out the selfie camera with it. The slider part also packs an infrared sensor for face unlock functionality.
