Lava International Limited extended its Atom series of entry level smartphones with the launch of Atom 2 at Rs 4,949 in India.
The Atom 2 has been designed keeping in mind the requirements of a first time smartphone user.
The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor and comes with a 4.5 inch FWVGA display.
There is also a 5-megapixel rear camera that is equipped with panoramic capture modes and HDR feature. For selfies, there is a VGA camera on the front of the phone.
Iris Atom 2 comes with a 512MB RAM and a 1750mAh Li-ion battery.
The device runs on Android Kitkat v4.4, and is upgradable to v5.1 Lollipop. This is an entry level smartphone so don’t expect this one to perform very well.
The smartphone is available in two colour variants – white and black – across all national retail stores, multi-brand outlets and online platforms.
