Xiaomi’s latest product in India is the Mi Bluetooth speaker. Priced at Rs 1,999 the portable speaker is one of the many such devices available in the market.
When it comes to audio, products from Logitech, JBL or Creative in the sub Rs 5000 segment are preferred. And Xiaomi is looking to break that very brand monopoly with its Mi Bluetooth speaker.
Here’s a closer look at the Mi Bluetooth speaker from Xiaomi.
The speaker comes with a 3.5-mm audio jack for those who still prefer to connect their speakers using a wire. What we liked is that even though the speaker has a metal construction and finish, it is still easy to carry around.
Mi Bluetooth speaker comes with call answering capabilities. Usually, this feature is seen in speakers that cost over of Rs 3000.
Mi Bluetooth speaker also has physical buttons to change (forward/backward) tracks.
You can charge the speaker via microUSB port as seen above, and as per Xiaomi, the product will last you for over 6 hours on a single charge.
