Everyone was waiting for the HTC One M9, but HTC had other plans. They launched the HTC One M9+ in India on April 14, 2015, for Rs 52,500. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting May 2015.
HTC had recently launched the HTC One M9+ in Beijing, and the move to launch it in India so soon came as a surprise to everyone.
The HTC One M9+ has HTC’s iconic all-metal design combined with some new enhancements. The smartphone includes a 5.2 inch, 2K display (Twice the resolution of HD), fingerprint authentication and HTC BoomSound with 2Dolby Audio surround sound.
The HTC One M9+ supports up to 2TB microSD storage, that’s just massive considering other premium smartphones support just up to 128GB micro-SD cards.
For selfie lovers, HTC One M9+ addresses low-light shots with the new and improved HTC UltraPixel front-facing camera that has dynamic auto exposure which promises balanced self-portraits in any lighting conditions.
HTC has also improved the Duo Camera of the One M9+.
The HTC One M9+ comes with a 20 megapixel camera that has a sapphire glass lens cover and can shoot video in 4K resolution.
The HTC One M9+ comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB on-board storage version and expandable memory.
The phone will be available in Gold on Silver and Gold on Gold with all major retailers from early May at a price tag of Rs 52,500.

HTC also launched two more smartphones, a plastic version of the M9+, the HTC One E9+ and HTC Desire 326G.
The technical specifications on HTC One E9+ are similar to the HTC One M9+. The difference: the E9+ has a plastic body, dual SIM compatibility and comes with 16GB on-board storage and an expandable memory of up to 2TB microSDXC card slot .
HTC One E9+ dual sim will be available in Meteor Grey, Gold Sopia and Rose Gold with all major retailers from the second half of May.
Prices were not announced, but as it’s the plastic version of the flagship it will certainly cost less. Our guess is that it will be priced below Rs 40,000.
The other smartphone that was announced was the HTC Desire 326G. It’s a dual-SIM smartphone that will come with a quad-core processor a strong and durable polycarbonate exterior with a 2000mAh removable battery.
The Desire 326G will feature a 8 megapixel primary camera coupled with a 2 mega-pixel BSI front facing camera for selfies.
The HTC Desire 326G dual SIM will have 1GB RAM and 8GB on-board storage and expandable memory up to 32GB microSD storage.
HTC Desire 326G will be available in White Birch and Black Onyx with all major retailers from the second half of May. No announcements on the price of this smartphone but it should come under Rs 15,000.
