You’ll Soon be Able to Send GIFs Over WhatsApp

Just like your Facebook newsfeed, WhatsApp will now support animated GIFs.

According to reports, GIF support will be available in the beta release of WhatsApp’s version 2.16.7.1. With this, the app will let users autoplay GIF links and embed them directly into their conversations.
