Google Celebrates Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s 67th Birth Anniversary

Google paid a special tribute to the legendary qawwali singer, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan by creating a doodle in the musician’s honour.

On October 13, 1948, the immortal Pakistani singer was born in Lyallpur, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Nusrat was regarded as the world’s greatest qawwali singer.

His soulful qawwali is a hit even among the youth. Thank you, Nusarat saab for filling our lives with your bittersweet symphonies. We miss you dearly!
