For all those who’re worried about losing their job to artificial intelligence's growing influence, all’s well!
Well, at least that’s what Gartner has to say in its latest findings. The US-based market research firm also said that cryptocurrencies, like bitcoin, will have a bigger say in the future, and by 2020 artificial intelligence (AI) will become a positive net job motivator, creating 2.3 million jobs while eliminating only 1.8 million jobs.
While the report does admit that AI will eliminate more jobs than it creates till 2019, it adds that the number of jobs created due to AI in 2020 will be sufficient to overcome the deficit.
It will interesting to see how this prediction plays out in India, especially when experts believe that AI is a challenge in India and offers an untapped opportunity.

We’ve already seen the impact of bitcoin and other forms of cryptocurrencies, but Gartner feels that by 2021, the value and use-case of such commodities will be an integral part of the banking sector.

Other aspects touched by this Gartner report are fake news, impact of digital media on consumers, and increase in use of voice and visuals for search, leading to growth in digital commerce revenues.
