Microsoft will start selling its cheapest Windows 10 Lumia phone in India next week. We’re talking about the Lumia 550. Priced at Rs 9,399, the phone will be available starting December 23 across the country.
The Lumia 550 is now the cheapest Windows 10 mobile that one can buy in the country this year. Lumia 550 is joined by Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 Xl phones, bearing the Windows 10 flag for Microsoft.
But even though it will be the cheapest Windows 10 phone one can buy, the market is flooded with phones at this price point that are much more powerful and provide better value for money.
For Rs 9,399 the Lumia 550 feels like it’s asking too much from buyers who are well aware of the other options available in the market.
