1. Hyundai’s Elantra Gets Sportier on the Front in Its 6th Avatar

Hyundai has unleashed its latest version of Elantra, the luxury sedan, which has been priced starting from Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). As informed by the company, these are introductory prices which will be revised by end of this year.

The Elantra launched is now in its 6th generation, sporting Hyundai’s Fluidic 2.0 design language. The Elantra’s biggest transformation has taken place on the front. The sedan now carries a big-size angular front grille with chrome accents, along with stylised headlamps.

2. Review: The New Renault Kwid Could Be Your Ideal First Car

Renault India has enjoyed a great run with the Kwid ever since it was launched a little over a year ago. But the company hasn’t just stood around and rested on these laurels and this is why we get the Kwid 1.0.

The Kwid is also offered with a 799-cc three pot engine which will continue to be sold and the 1.0 litre SCe version (999-cc) will only be offered in the RXT trim at the moment.

This strategy allows Renault to take the fight to its closest competitor, namely the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 and Alto K10.

3. Piaggio Aprilia SR150 Is the Macho Scooter That Gives You Revv

Move over TVS, Mahindra and Honda. There’s a new scooter kid in town, Piaggio’s Aprilia. This 150-cc two-wheeler will be available in the country soon for Rs 65,000 which puts it in direct competition with quite a few motorcycles.

But for what it’s worth, the Aprilia SR 150 in nothing like the Pulsar or an Activa. This scooter reminds us of the Kinetic Blaze, a 150-cc scooter that was seen blazing the roads few years back. Priced at Rs 65,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) it’s got the heart of a Vespa and could be choice for many.
