Yes, you read that right. A whopping $14 billion worth of Tesla Model 3s have been booked in 7 days. The other exciting figure here is 3.25 lakh, which is the number of bookings that the company has registered for the same model in a week. Tesla made the announcement through their Twitter account.
This is the biggest one-week launch of any product ever, at least that is what the company says. They also said that they haven’t advertised or paid for any endorsements for the Model 3, and if that is true, then these numbers are even more mind-blowing.
Tesla currently sells the Model S and Model X, and has managed to create an image for itself as one of the fastest-emerging Electric Vehicle (EV) makers in the world. After all, they have a driving mode that is called ‘ludicrous’.
