Rolls Royce has unveiled the Sweptail, its most expensive and luxurious coachbuilder till date.
While Rolls Royce hasn’t talked up the price of the Sweptail, media reports have put a price-tag of around $12.83 million, or a whopping Rs 84 crore. This is a custom-designed model, for which Rolls Royce design has worked together with the uber-lucky client, who will be the sole owner of the only Rolls Royce Sweptail ever made.
So, unless you’ve got truckloads of money lying around (try Rs 84 crore), there’s no chance anyone else will get to ride another Sweptail.
Sweptail was presented in front of the media at the luxury hotel Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in Italy. This coachbuilder, according to Rolls Royce, has been hand-built, with its design inspired from the company’s exclusive cars from the 1920s and 1930s.
The highlight of the Sweptail is the uninterrupted glass roof, that allows natural light to flood into the cabin.
The Sweptail comes fitted with the largest ever aluminium grille that a Rolls Royce has ever seen.
For those who're still reading this, the Sweptail is a two-seater coupe that stretches as long as 6 meters, and packs a 6.6-litre V12 engine.
