Founder of smartphone brand Micromax Rahul Sharma recently ventured into electric two-wheelers by announcing his new Gurugram-based start-up Revolt Motors.

The company plans to launch an electric motorcycle in the days to come and it seems that images of the upcoming bike have already surfaced online.

Revolt Motors did not reveal any details about the motorcycle at a presser it held a few days ago. However, he did mention that the bike is going to be an AI-based two-wheeler. The company has only recently sent out some official sketches as can be seen below.

However, a prototype with camouflage has also been spotted testing.

According to a leaked imaged on Thurst Zone, the new motorcycle is going to sport an upright seating position bundled with an aggressive design. It can’t be called a naked street bike, but it has more of a sporty look.

The upcoming Revolt Motors bike will have a range of 150 kilometres on a single charge.

The headlamp design resembles the KTM 390 Duke while it seem to be sporting an LED daytime running light and projector lens inside.

The images also reveal an upright handlebar while the fuel tank cover (which will actually have lithium-ion batteries inside) sports extended shrouds.

As per the design renders, the images and a teaser released by the company suggest that the bike will run with the help of a belt rather than a chain and will have the electric motor at the center for a low centre of gravity and better weight distribution.

The images also reveal a pillion-friendly seat, rear monoshock suspension and upside down forks on the front with alloy wheels.

It is also slotted to come with a digital instrument cluster and offer a range of 150 kilometres on a single charge with swapable batteries in tow. The top speed mentioned by Revolt Motors is 85 kmph.

This bike will be manufactured at a facility in Manesar, situated in the outskirts of Delhi NCR. To kick start its journey, the product will be first available in Delhi by end of June 2019.
