Jaguar Land Rover has launched the 2018 facelifted versions of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport in India, with prices starting at Rs 1.75 crore and Rs 99.48 lakh ex-showroom respectively. Each of these comes in multiple variants, with the top-end Range Rover SV Autobiography priced at Rs 3.88 crore and Range Rover Sport SVR at Rs 1.97 crore.
The changes are mainly cosmetic to the 2018 models. The Range Rover and Range Rover Sport get revised bumpers, new pixel LED headlamps and vent designs. On the interiors the highlight is the dual touchscreen system for the infotainment and climate control, like on the Range Rover Velar.
The Range Rover and Range Rover Sport come with four engine options. The base is a 3-litre diesel V6 motor that puts out 258 bhp of power or a 3-litre V6 petrol motor that puts out 340 bhp of power. The higher-end models get a 4.4 litre V8 diesel motor that puts out 340 bhp of power or a 5-litre petrol V8 motor that puts out 525 bhp of power.
All the models get a 9-speed transmission with all-wheel drive and multiple drive modes for off-road use. Feature additions include a more advanced adaptive cruise control system and park assist system, as well as cabin air purifiers.
The Range Rover is also available as a long wheelbase model.
