Jaguar Land Rover’s latest Range Rover SUV – the Velar – has made its way to the Indian market with a starting price tag of Rs 78.83 lakh (ex-showroom).
This premium SUV comes in four variants, two in diesel and two in petrol. Velar’s two-litre or three-litre engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
We got a chance to check out the latest SUV in the Range Rover family, and here’s a first detailed look at it.
Range Rover Velar is capable of churning up to 296 BHP and a staggering 700NM of torque (all models inclusive), going from 0 to 100 km/hr in 6.5 seconds, with a top speed of around 241 km/hr.
Velar gets two 10.1-inch screens for navigation, multimedia and basic driving functions.
