Jaguar Land Rover has announced a big price drop on its F-Pace SUV in India. The performance-centric giant is now priced at Rs 60.02 lakh (ex-showroom), and much of that can be attributed to its local manufacturing from now on.
Yes, Jaguar Land Rover India (JLRIL) on Tuesday has commenced the local manufacturing of Jaguar's first performance SUV F-Pace, giving it sweet price cut of Rs 16 lakh on its previous pricing.
According to the company, the locally manufactured 2018 model year F-Pace is priced at Rs 60.02 lakh (ex-showroom price in India) and can be booked from Tuesday.
The SUV will be available in the "prestige derivative" and powered by a 2.0 litre 4-cylinder, 132 kW "Turbocharged Ingenium Diesel" engine.

F-Pace 30d R-Sport is the big cat in the Jaguar family. Based on the C-X17 concept crossover that Jaguar showcased back in 2013. The F-Pace has no qualms standing out in a crowd. The looks turn quite a few heads when the car’s on the move, and stays true to the current Jaguar design philosophy.

While there's no denying that it looks striking (especially in this shade of red), it does end up looking a tad too similar to its stablemates, more so when viewed head-on. There's a strong resemblance to the XF which is hard to ignore,
