The first Saturday of May is celebrated globally as International Female Ride Day. It is a globally synchronised female riders-only event. An independent group of Delhi women bikers met up to celebrate the day and The Quint went along for the ride.

The group met up at Indraprastha Park in Delhi and rode to Riders Adda in Chattarpur, where they then exchanged stories on their motorcycling adventures. Biking is still considered a male bastion in India, and these women are breaking stereotypes. Most of the bikes they were riding were Royal Enfield Classics, Himalayans and Thunderbirds. Other bikes included Yamaha R15s, a Hero Karizma and a Honda CBR250R among others. Who says men should have all the fun?
