2016 is here and it is bringing with itself something that almost every automobile enthusiast in the country has been waiting for – the Delhi Auto Expo.
The expo is set to be bigger than ever and like always, will bring loads of new, swanky cars to the Indian roads.
We, dear friends, have got our hands on the list of new cars that Audi will be showcasing this time around.
The list is exciting, so let’s just get to it.
Audi R8
The existing Audi R8 is one of the best performance cars in the world, the new one, however, promises to take it one step further.
The 2nd generation Audi R8 will be presented at the Expo and shares 50 per cent of its parts with the racing spec Audi R8 LMS. The car comes with Quattro all-wheel-drive, something that Audi is famous for.
Audi A8 L Security
The armoured sedan by Audi is now, even more robust. The A8 L has been tested for resistance to explosive charges. It is manufactured in partnership with Audi’s Neckarsulm plant and a secure, top-secret factory that no one knows about (for security purposes, obviously). The new model is also lighter and can handle a maximum payload of 600 kg, which is the highest figure amongst other armoured vehicles, says Audi.
Audi Prologue Concept
After making its world début at Auto Shanghai, it will be one of the main attractions at Audi’s exhibition this year. According to the German automaker, the Prologue concept is the sportiest car in the luxury segment and comes with high-end technology and unrestricted everyday practicality. The new design approach to the exteriors is clearly visible and by the looks of it, it will definitely be major crowd magnet.
