For the first time, Ford has introduced a sunroof in this lineup which the company is calling a 'Fun-roof'. It’s an electrically operated sunroof similar to what some other cars in the segment have like the Honda WR-V.

The EcoSport S brings back the 1-litre, turbo-charged EcoBoost engine. It's capable of making max power of 123 bhp and maximum torque of 170 Nm. The car also welcomes a few cosmetic changes like smoked HID headlamps with dark inserts and a more prominent black treatment to the fog lamp bezel.

The big change though, is the six-speed manual transmission with the 1-litre Ecoboost engine. There is no automatic option with this engine. A six-speed automatic is available only with the 1.5 litre petrol engine.

The Ford EcoSport S also welcomes a blacked out grille, black painted roof and roof rails and 17-inch smoked alloys.

On the inside the car offers orange accents on the seats as well as instrument panel and also comes with a bigger 4.2-inch digital information cluster that also has a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

As for the Ford EcoSport Signature Edition, it will also come with a sunroof. On the exterior there are a few changes like the swanky grille with chrome surrounds and diamond-cut 17-inch alloys, black fog-lamp bezel along with all-round graphics, rear spoiler and roof rails.

In terms of equipment, the Signature Edition features all the kit available on the previous top-spec trim but also gets a sunroof, electronic stability control and hill-start assist.

Also on the inside it gets blue accents on seat stitching, central console and instrument cluster. Customers can opt to buy the EcoSport Signature Edition as an option pack on the car’s Titanium variant.

The new Ford EcoSport is available in multiple colours like Blue, Red, Silver and more.
