Maruti Suzuki launched the premium Nexa range with the launch of the S-Cross, which picked up good momentum initially but went on to witness a steep decline in sales. Their next product under the Nexa badge was the Baleno, which too gained great momentum initially, but this time, the product managed to keep it that way.

The Baleno has been garnering good numbers in terms of sales, but the top end variant of the Baleno did not have Automatic Transmission, and the mid-variant did. What this meant was that the people who wanted all the features on offer in the top variant and Automatic Transmission, would eventually have to compromise on one of these features, till now.

The Indian automaker has come out with the Automatic (CVT) version of the top end model as well, called Zeta and has priced it at Rs 7.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
