Audi’s much anticipated A8 2018 sedan was announced a while back at the Audi Summit event in Barcelona. The new Audi A8 will hit the European market later this year, with its debut in India likely to be in 2018.

Audi A8 has a price tag of 90,600 Euros (approx Rs 67 lakh), with other models to be priced closer to the launch date.

Unveiling the long-size sedan, Audi presented the A8 with its redesigned three-dimensional single frame grille with a sweeping coupe-like roofline. It's hard to deny that the bold additions to the fourth generation Audi A8 make it look even more imposing.

The central 10.1-inch touchscreen display takes over the front dashboard, living up to its billing of a luxury sedan. And if that's not enough, Audi showcased its Remote pilot parking on the A8 for the first time, and active traffic jam sensors as well.

Under the hood, Audi A8 is a hybrid in its truest form, with its two 8-cylinder V6 turbo engine and a 12V electric motor. The new Audi A8 will be available in two variants; a 3.0 TDI offering 286 hp and a 3.0 TFSI unit giving 340 hp.
