After 45 league matches and over a month long of competitive cricket, the 2019 World Cup has finally reached its fag end, with the semifinals set to start on 9 July. India, Australia, England and New Zealand are the teams taking on each other for a place in the World Cup final.

While India have topped the group with 7 wins from 9 games with 15 points, Australia are placed second with 14 points from the same number of same number of matches played.

England, who started their campaign with such authority, lost their momentum coming to the end of the league stage. They lost as many as three games and now find themselves on the third spot with 12 points.

Kane Williamson-led NZ who were unbeaten in their first in their first six games, lost their last three and finished at number four on the points table.
