As England outplayed Australia in the second semifinal of the ICC World Cup 2019 by eight wickets to storm into the finals, former English cricketers expressed their joy and admiration on Thursday, 12 July.

England have entered the finals of a cricket World Cup after 27 years. The last time they played in a World Cup final was in 1992 against Pakistan.
