The past week in sport was a quite packed one, with high-octane action to look forward to throughout the globe. It began with the always eagerly-awaited NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte, and ended with the first title of the European club football season being decided.
In between, Indian sport was engulfed in controversy relating to Pakistan in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack – but India’s shooters lifted spirits with a rousing start at the ISSF World Cup in New Delhi.
The Indian women’s and men’s cricket teams, too, are engrossed in action at home, with the men counting down to the ICC World Cup in England from May.
