A hectic few months of cricket against South Africa and Virat Kohli is now enjoying some down time.
The 28-year-old isn’t one to sit home and relax, instead he’s out and about the capital spending time with his newly acquired sports teams.
With the Pro Wrestling League and the International Tennis Premier League both being played out in different arenas at the IGI Stadium, it was a quick hop, skip and jump for the Indian Test skipper as he started the day first with his team in the PWL.
Having announced his recent purchase only in the morning of the league’s opening night, Virat had expressed his excitement at the possibilities of such a venture.
I was thrilled on hearing about the Pro Wrestling League and Bengaluru Yodhas. I am no stranger to the city of Bangalore and it is wonderful that I can extend my association by way of the Yodhas. I am confident that the Yodhas will be a vital cog in the scheme of things.Virat Kohli
After wrestling, it was time to show his support to his team in the Mahesh Bhupathi owned IPTL.
Having come in on board as a co-owner of the UAE Royals a few months back, Virat watched as his team played the Japan Warriors in the opening fixture of the Delhi leg.
Virat’s recent winning form however didn’t seem to rub off on his team though as Leander Paes’ Japan Warriors beat UAE Royals 24-21.
