Venus Williams’ dismal form in the singles circuit continued in the 2016 Australian Open as well. Britain’s Johanna Konta just took one hour and nineteen minutes to wrap up the first round match.
Konta, who beat Williams 6-4, 6-2, served five aces and struck 19 winners. But, the unseeded player committed 17 unforced errors.
