Twitter Hails ‘Age Of Roger Federer’– 8th Time Wimbledon Champion

History was created on Sunday night!

Five years after winning his last Wimbledon title, Roger Federer is now the Champion for a record eighth time. No other player in history has won more singles titles at SW19 than this 35-year-old Swiss.

Federer also clinched his record 19th Grand Slam singles title. Marin Cilic was beaten 6-3 6-1 6-4 on Sunday evening.

To no one’s surprise Twitter was abuzz with congratulatory messages, all hailing the ‘Legend’ and ‘The Age of Roger Federer’.
